Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know about accessing MPOT services, funding and appointments.

- Do I need a referral to access MPOT services?
- Not always. Many of our services can be accessed directly, while some funding pathways (e.g. Medicare, insurers) require a GP or specialist referral. Get in touch and we'll point you in the right direction.
- Is MPOT covered by NDIS, Medicare or private health?
- We work across NDIS, workers compensation, CTP, life insurance, Medicare care plans, DVA and private clients. Fees and rebates depend on your funding, we'll confirm everything before your first appointment.
- Where do appointments take place?
- We see clients in clinic, at home, in the community, in schools and in workplaces, whatever works best for your goals and circumstances.
- How quickly can I be seen?
- We aim to make contact within two business days of your enquiry or referral and book an initial appointment as soon as possible.
- What areas does MPOT service?
- MPOT provides services across metropolitan and regional areas. Contact us to confirm availability in your location.
- How do I make a referral?
